I would think the "Natural" way to live would be so attuned to God that we would hear His voice all the time and would have no need of a burning bush experience; but generally we are so hardhearted, dull of hearing and out of tune with God, we only hear on special occasions. (Yeshua often described His disciples this way) It is because we are more tuned to the so-called natural world, the cares of this life and bound up in the religious traditions of the church. And then we wonder why we suffer from doubt and unbelief. We are living "unnatural" lives. We often think we are a body with a spirit, instead of the reality that we are a spirit with a body (earthsuit).
